Wise Woman medicine rattle
Deer skin naturally dyed red; the colour of the Sacred, the colour of our blood, the colour of both life and death. Deer brings a gentling and sensitivity while the sea shells inside honour the primordial sea of origin and our depth of emotion. This rattle comes with a small leather pouch attached to the side - ready for your personalization. Perhaps a crystal you are working with, a pinch of tobacco or herbs, maybe support your attunement process with a lock of your hair or pulled wisdom tooth inside, even a pebble from your ancestral homelands.

Initiation rattle
This semi translucent buffalo hide rattle is dressed in the 3 typically associated colours for the stages of initiation. Black/Severance, Red/Threshold Experience or Sacred Challenge, and White/Return & Integration. Hemp wrap honours the durability and resourceful versatility within both this plant as well as the initiate Buffalo is known to face the storm head on in a strong way whereas other creatures turn their backs to it for shelter. A piece of red coral adorns the outside to handle dense energies that is generally stirred up through intiatory processes and brings support to areas of community and friendship. Inside are 2 rose quartz "talking stones" for heart healing attention plus a bulk of black eyed peas - white beans with a black dot on each. Representing duality within the One whole. This for also looks a bit like a yoni for those wanting to bring in the medicines of the sacred feminine. This rattle has the shortest handle of all the rattles I've made. It's compact and very durable. The rattle head is the toughest most firm skin I've ever worked with. It is strong and will travel well. There is a nice weight to this one whereas most rattles are fairly light in the hand. The red is from a natural dye mixture and the light shines so beautifully through it. When not in the light, the red is a deep dark blood colour. |

Heart Connection medicine rattle
Inside this deer skin rattle are moonstone crystal chips connecting one to the medicine of cycles and the gentle yet powerful Lunar energy. Also inside are amethyst crystal chips bringing calm and ease. Amethyst is also supportive for those looking to heal addictions in life. A rose quartz "talking stone" brings another layer of gentle and effective heart healing - be it old heart ache, grief, loneliness or deep emotional hurts - rose quartz brings a balm. Deer of course is gentle, alert, and sensitive - just how we like our hearts to be. This skin is a bit tougher than the red heart rattle listed just before this one but would not survive being sat on too well. You can see it is semi translucent with the sun behind it. |
