Small batch, handmade, natural inks and water colour paint, from foraged & gleaned wild colour sources or ceremonial fires.
Perfect for paintings with a range of living colour and layered washes, as well as intentional art or sacred writings, sigils, vows, declarations, mandalas, prayers, and other ritual work or soul-full tending on paper. Working with natural ink is a way to cultivate our artistic exploration, connection with the natural elements, traditional skills, and if desired, our spiritual practices. Incorporating natural colour into your life is a beautiful way to honour a milestone event, rite of passage, or devotional work. Limited batches may be available of:

English Walnut Alcohol Ink
Gleaned from the local village of Kla-ah-men (Lund, BC) and brewed on my woodstove, the nuts themselves were shared amongst the community while the husks found their way to my dye pot. Generous in colour, Walnut offers a rich range of beautiful browns. Preserved with vodka and available in 30 ml bottles or 6ml sample sized. |

From the same gleaning expedition as the ink listed above, this batch of ink has had its colour shifted to a darker range of browns from being brewed in my rusty cauldron over our ceremonial fire pit. Preserved with vodka and available in 30 ml bottles or 6ml sample sized. |

Indigo Alcohol Ink
A lovely wide range of blues created from the leaves of the indigo plant, this ink is a personal favourite. Hand mulled into a fine ink that is sure to please. It tends to settle in the bottle which, to some artists, is quite desirable, allowing for a near black concentration as pictured below in my sketchbook pages with a drop spindle, flax flowers, skeleton key and hag stone. If drawing from this bottom layer, a fixative spray may be desired on your finished work if there is risk of smudging. Otherwise, shake well and enjoy! Preserved with vodka and available in 30 ml bottles or 6ml sample sized. |

Charcoal Ink
Perhaps the first pigment of humankind, charcoal is a tried and true favourite of artists the world over. All of my charcoal originates from our ceremonial fire pit and has been hand mulled. * Specific ritual work infusing this ink may be available upon request. As with all charcoal pigments, a fixative spray may be desired if your finished work is at risk of smudging. This ink needs no preservatives. Available in 30 ml bottles or 6ml sample sized. |
Create Ritual Ink Together in Ceremony
Take things even deeper by creating your wild colour together with me in sacred space!
Creating your colour together within a 2 day ceremony is an incredibly rich experience that allows you to connect further to the natural elements being included and actively transform the essence of items such as diary pages, written spellwork, photographs, or documents, even personal bio elements such as your menstrual blood or tears into ink for your ritual use.
You will spend time forming your intention, working with energy, and tending to your inner needs through soul level tending while preparing your ink.
Methods will vary depending on the work at hand and the wild colour being used. Pre-ceremony preparation and integration follow up included.
These opportunities are limited but may be available upon request in the qathet region.
