Illuminated Forest ~ Porcelain Luminary Candle Lantern
Long winter nights cozied and softened by the light of porcelain lanterns brings together the cottagecore feel that many of us long for. Forest scenes and illuminated mandalas bring a sense of stories waiting to be told and a calm centering amid storming weather. I'm in love with the idea of such lights on a Winter Solstice altar or comforting during power outtages. Tealight candle included.

Pán Bowl
Rowdy, raucous, randy Pán, lustful seducer of nymphs, wise prophet, and desired friend of shepherds and hunters both. Worshipped in dark caves or the dank forest floor where the most wildest things are. After 2 months in process this fella, appropriately dipped in Randy's Red glaze with an underglazed nod to usual his phallic accompaniment, is finally Done. This Old God is ready for dark wild nights full of sweaty dancing to reed pipes, perhaps filled with water for Scrying, or the stuff of hooved men that I'm not really meant to know about. He let me measure him so I can let you know that he is 3.5" tall and just under 6" across. I can tell he would not like an "adoption fee" but rather goblin market barter style for cold hard cash and a piece of bread from the pocket of a wanderer. If he is meant to come be with you, $50 Canadian might satisfy but send your best bread recipe too to be safe

Porcelain Waxing & Waning Moon Bowl
Perfect for those who work intentionally with the moon's phases, this moon bowl is ready to take its place in the repeating cycle of moving into fullness before retreating into fallow rest time. Use positioned as shown here to support beginnings and place notes inside of what you would like to see more of or grow in your life. Turn the opposite way around to hold what you are letting go of, releasing, or for gently easing into rest. Use to hold offerings, place on your altar, or for making moon water as all of our pieces are food safe! |
Dark Moon Bowl
Similar to the Waxing & Waning Moon Bowl above, this piece is for those who work more with darkness, the archetype of one who dreams, conjures, and makes medicine far far away from the limelight, or those who engage in shadow work. There are still its own subtle nuance of cycle to the night. A gradual deepening before those first hints of illumination can softly be perceived. At 5"x2" it is a comfortable fit on the altar and like all of our pieces, it is food safe. So mix your medicines, potions, herbs, or make waters freely. |

Garlic Grater Plates ~ Hand Pinched
Perfect for Kitchen Witchin' and natural medicine making! Pictured here is a sample of the wholesome organic look of grater plates made by hand. Each begins as a ball of clay and are press, press, pressed with tiny "pinches" into small shallow dishes. Their imprinted designs are just rough enough for emulsifying garlic without roughing up your fingers. Most are hand painted with coloured underglazes while others may be dipped. Each is made just deep enough and often with a little moat to hold oil & seasonings along with your grated garlic to invite fresh baked bread dipping. Simply rub a clove of garlic across or around the bottom of the plate and either brush the emulsified garlic into your cooking or add oil to enjoy right in the dish! Each plate is about 3" to 4" wide. Please inquire using the form below on availability, my desire is to always have some on hand. If I happen to be out, I will make you one! Flown from the nest
A sweet reflection on some favourite pieces that have traveled from our hearth out into the great wide world. While some stay close and live here on the Upper Sunshine Coast, others have traveled to destinations across the Canada, into the US and across the pond to the United Kingdom. It warms my heart to know each is supporting sacred work, helping to heal, or being used ritually ~ either in quietly personal ways or in grander community ceremony. Everything from healing relationships to food one cereal bowl at a time to offering plates at large Solstice gatherings. From incorporating a spirit animal into one's spiritual practice to reclaiming cultural practices. |
